God has provided and the people of St. Paul will welcome Rev. Mark A. Cerniglia to serve during my absence for service to the Japanese Evangelical Lutheran Church Pastor Mark was welcomed by a unanimous vote of the church council after an evening of fellowship and introductions. Pastor Mark's interim ministry will begin on September 7 when he will be commissioned along with Chris and myself at a festive worship service at 4:30 PM at St. Paul. We will work together until Chris and I leave for Japan on September 21st. This will insure a smooth transition for St. Paul in our ministry to "share the good news of Jesus Christ by loving and serving all."
